Tim had his first vacation at the lake! Our plan was to go down Saturday and come home on Sunday. Well...the little guy had so much fun and didn't want to leave, so we stayed until Monday!
All of this for 2 nights?! Totally worth it!
Though the weather was not as cooperative as we would have liked, we did manage to go on a boat ride on Saturday - doesn't Tim look so cute in his life jacket and sun hat?! He looks so peaceful, doesn't he? Well...pictures can be deceiving. He was not a happy camper in his life jacket, but the hum of the boat put him straight to sleep!
We had a great Memorial Day weekend with the family. Thank you to all of the men and women who have served, and currently serve, for our great country - God bless America!

So cute! Tim looks precious in his little life jacket! I love "The Tims" picture too! You should have taken a "Melanies" picture. I'm sad we missed out on all the fun!
